![]() This would balance the playing field, but people with good builds wouldn’t want that, because they would lose the advantage of owning better gear. Which brings me to the idea, that PvP could potentially have a place like an armoury in PvP zones which is accessible for everyone and you can only use the items from there and not the ones you own. I know a handful of players who enjoy PvP the way it is, but they too tend to run the classes which dominate it. It’s not the same form of PvP you would get from a shooter, where it boils down to skill and everyone is basically the same and the only difference is how good you play that specific character. You’re at a disadvantage if you try to build your own PvP character, so if you want to stand a chance, you literally must use a guide online. Truth is, that as the game gets more items, abilities, classes, they will be that one class which will best all others and when we get around to that, everyone who wants to play PvP will be running that same builds. I wouldn’t vote to remove it, but it has been known from similar games, that either they balance PvP and ruin PvE, or they focus on balancing PvE and then just let PvP become whatever wants to be. It is totally fine to have this PvP element in the game. I think people have been brainwashed into thinking that there is something inherently sadistic and evil about having any sort of desire for competition against other players. There are achievements for killing other players, and on hardcore too. ![]() It doesn’t have to turn into an esport to be fun or competitive.
